Bellringers’ news

We rang a peal of 5056 Shrove Delight Major for the start of the 2018 football match. The method is a complicated one and the ringing of high standard. We were very pleased that a lady in an adjoining property came in at the end and applauded us saying that she had enjoyed all the ringing. At one point she was on the phone to a friend in Suffolk so she held the phone out of the window to broadcast the ringing to Suffolk. Duncan announced the peal at the Shrovetide lunch and it was greeted with a round of applause.
